Employers will now have until 2012 to begin reporting the value of employee-sponsored health care coverage. Read the IRS release here:
The new Health Care legislation recently signed into law contains new requirements for employers.
Starting in 2011, employers will need to begin reporting on Form W-2 the value of employee health insurance coverage sponsored by the employer, and limit tax-free health flexible spending account amounts to $2,500 per year.
